“How’s Mac doing with the Babies?”

This is a question I get a lot these days. We were a little worried about how Mac would respond to the babies but it turns out we didn’t need to. At first he didn’t seem to really care that there were two new babies in the family. He doesn’t get too much attention, from me anyway, so when people come to visit he jumps all over them and runs outside when we open the door. He is still very chill and doesn’t seem to bark or growl as much when he hears things outside. One day I came home to find Mac sleeping in the Boppy. I guess he felt left out. Maybe Boppy should add that to the many other uses it has. Lately he has been laying on the blanket that I have on the floor when we do tummy time, for the babies that is, although Mac is pretty good at it too. Mac is our little watch dog. One night we were watching a movie and I heard Mac jump out of his bed. I watched him go back to the babies room and about a minute later he came to the living room where we were and jumped up on the rocking chair. Jim went back to the room and JD was totally awake. If the babies are crying he comes to us with his ears up wondering if we are going to do something about it. It’s very helpful. Even though his life is pretty boring these days, Jim reminds him that he will long for them when the babies start tugging and pulling at him. We love our BooBoo dog!
