Warning…if you don’t like rodents, do not read

Being pregnant, it really bothered me to the point that I called animal damage control and scheduled for them to come out. Jim had the day off and wasn’t very happy that I had made the appointment because the crawl space is in our closet under the organizer. I broke down in tears and he didn’t ask anymore questions. The next morning he tore apart the closet and had the crawl space open and ready for the animal guy. As soon as the guy walked in he confirmed that the smell was indeed dead rats. You see, we had poison in the shed and thought we were doing something good. Well we were poisoning the rats and they were going under the house to die. We got everything taken care of, the rat decomposed under the house and we had to live with the smell for about 2 weeks. Fast forward to this weekend…Jim was cleaning out the shed to make room for more stuff when he discovered, dun dun dun, a dead rat. And we’re sure there were more hidden in the drop clothes but we did not check to confirm. I took a picture for your enjoyment!
