Easter

I’m gonna try to get back on the blog thing. I’ve taken a lot of pictures recently and Holly and JD are growing fast.

We were excited to celebrate Easter this year. I found an Easter book that we read a lot to help the kids understand that Easter isn’t really about bunnies, eggs and candy. I was surprised that they really enjoyed the book and when someone asked them who we celebrate at Easter they would respond with “Jesus” and “He was resurrected.” Puts a smile on Mommy’s face!

The primary and nursery kids had a really fun time. Holly and JD ate their candy before we even got to the car to go home. We dyed Easter eggs at Grandma’s house on Easter after church and had another hunt. A really big one. We had to bag up the candy and hide it high away. I think we still have some hiding somewhere.
