Daylight Savings

Fall back. Sounds so nice, right? Just wait until you have kids. It’s even worse when you are all sick and sleep is needed to get better. It was great timing. We are still getting over a nasty cough, runny noses, and just all around yuckiness. We’ve been up at 6:30 every morning and that doesn’t include the middle of the night when we are up with fussy babies. JD had a little fever spell Sunday night and so we put him in the bath tub to cool him. He turned white as a ghost. It was so scary. But thankfully with some ibuprofen and a breathing treatment he was better. He woke up perky as ever but we still took him to the doctor to make sure he didn’t have any infections. And with this daylight saving nonsense it has messed up our nap schedule. We were down to one nap a day and now we’re back to two. So they take an early nap and now they are asleep right now. A 5pm nap. Not good. And JD was so tired, he wouldn’t fall asleep in my lap so he fell asleep on the rug. He’s going to wake up with some sweet designs on his face for sure!

And because Holly and JD are so adorable I’ve included some more pictures!
