Brrr, it’s cold, and there’s frost in the morn,
Winter’s upon us and delivers its scorn,
Snow on the ground where the high mountains rise,
Smoke in the chimneys and clouds in the skies.

Each 4 years, at this time, there’s a special to do,
Where the athletes all gather with the global who’s who,
And the people come in from all over the Earth,
To witness the passion, the tragedy and mirth,
Whether on TV or right in Torino,

get it meter as in poetry… Dad is a little obscure sometimes, I think he might be hanging out with the ice cream man… Your poetry shows a sensitivity to winter sports that is awe inspiring. This is the one and only time I ever watch ice skating, not to mention the luge (sp?). Any other time of the year it’s the most boring thing on Television.

On another subject entirely – I have started my training at Weight Watchers so I am officially extremely part-time low-wagedly employed.
