We Did Celebrate

I’m realizing that I am a bit behind and will try to be better at this blogging thing now that I am no longer working and I am a SAHM! So happy about that. I did want to post some pictures of Holly and JD and the wonderful father they have.

We celebrated with a nice breakfast and the kids were so excited to help me make cocoa puccakes for Daddy. They poured, stirred, ate and got a little antsy waiting for them to bake. We enjoyed a nice breakfast together and then took some over to Poppy to wish him a Happy Father’s day too. Holly and JD also helped Grandma water her beans and maybe got a little wet in the process. That was a funny site.

Daddy loved them so much he took them to work with him to keep in his cubicle.

I’m so grateful to have a husband who loves his children so much. Every day when he comes home from work he says “Hi Family.” Holly and JD always try to beat him to it now and say it before he does. They are so excited to see him walk through the door. And when he leaves work before they get up, which isn’t very often, they are pretty sad they didn’t get to see Daddy. I grateful Holly and JD have a father who worries when they are sick, makes them laugh and gives the best hugs a kid could ask for.
